Outlook Express Users

Microsoft Outlook Express has some special setup options that are required to enable MailRules to function properly:

Firstly, you will need to set MailRules to access your SMTP/POP server. Then, you will need to ensure that Microsoft Outlook Express will leave the incoming Mail on the POP server for MailRules to read.

To enable these settings follow the steps shown in the following diagrams:

1. From the Outlook Express menu, click Tools and then select Accounts.
2. Click on the Mail tab and select the mail account that you want MailRules to check and click on Properties.
3. Click on the Advanced tab.

5. In the Delivery frame, ensure that the boxes Leave Copy on Server and Delete from server after x days have been checked.
