Query Recipient

This is a technology that will make life easier for you if regularly need to update files in multiple locations.

This allows MailRules to compare the contents of a destination with the contents of a source location and selectively update those files that have been replaced by later versions.

Using this you can ensure that MailRules is transmitting the minimum amount of data required to keep all client machines fully up-to-date.

When this process is activated, the originating MailRules ("Sender") will transmit a full listing of all files to the destination MailRules ("the Recipient"). The Recipient machine will examine the probe message and compare the file details with what it has and then reply indicating what it requires to update the target location. Only those files that are requested by the recipient will be transmitted.
