Available only for Advanced Rules, here you specify the actions that must be performed at the destination by MailRules.

Option |
Description |
Folder/Alias |
Here you specify where the Advanced Outbound rule is to place the transmitted files at the destination. You can use a normal folder path (for example, "C:\Data\Update") or you can enter an Alias. To enter an Alias, simply enclose the Alias name with square brackets (for example, [Stock]), note that this Alias must have been already defined by the Recipient. Several built-in Aliases are also available [MAILRULES], [MY DOCUMENTS/PERSONAL], [DESKTOP] and you can select one of these by clicking the Alias button. If you do delivery to an Alias, you can also enter a subfolder - for example, [DESKTOP]\Update would refer to a subfolder on the Recipients' desktop called "Updates". You do not have to specify a folder that exists - provided the Recipient has appropriate access rights, MailRules will create a folder at the destination if neccessary. |
Default Password |
You can optionally provide a default password to use for recipients of the Outbound Rule who may not have an entry (or password) stored in your Address Book (Note: you are advised to store all Recipients in your Address Book with their Advanced Rule passwords). The default password is essential for advanced users of MailRules: For example, using an Inbound Rule's Run this Outbound Rule option it is possible to trigger the sending of an Advanced Rule to the person who triggered the Inbound Rule. If this person is not in your MailRules address book, then this password will be used to transmit the Advanced Rule to them. If you do not supply a default password, any recipients of the Outbound Rule who do not have a password stored in your Address Book will not receive the message and an entry will be made in the daily log to identify them. |
Recreate subfolders |
If you selected Send subfolders (WHAT) this instructs MailRules to recreate those subfolders in the destination folder. |
Notify Recipient |
Selecting this checkbox will notify the recipient when the rule is run on their system. |
Replace files |
This allows you to specify if files that exist at the destination should be replaced by the freshly transmitted files. The options are:
The default is Always, however, if you select one of the other options you will enable the powerful Query Recipient option (see below). Please see, File Version Numbers. |
Options |
Provides access to other options available at the destination. |
Query Recipient |
This allows the members of your MailRules community to communicate and transmit only those files that are required to ensure that the most up-to-date are available. See Query Recipient for more details If you select Query Recipient, you will enable Clear Redundant Files. The Reply Check counter sets the number of minutes that MailRules wait before checking for a reply from the target recipient(s). The Time Out sets the number of minutes that will be waited in total before abandoning the delivery. |
Clear Redundant files |
This option removes redundant files from the target location. This means that files previously transmitted that no longer exist at the source are removed from the destination. |
i <information button> |
Tells you how many redundant files have been identified and provides an option to clear this list. |
Run Application after saving |
This allows you to specify an application to run on the target machine. |
Run Outbound Rule |
This will allow you to trigger an Outbound rule on the target machine. You must specify the Rule by name. Supplying the Rule Name enables Reply to Sender. |
Reply to Sender |
If Run Outbound Rule is selected, this option will send the specified Outbound Rule to the Sender (that is, you), not whoever is named in the To: box. The Cc: and Bcc: recipients will also receive the reply. |
Datasource Mapping |
Allows a Datasource Export function to be performed. You must know the name of the remote Datasource. |
