Here you have a variety of options available to control additional actions that should be performed by this Outbound Rule.

Run Application - Before Sending

Allows you to select an external application to run before the message is sent.

Allows you to select an external application to run after the message is sent.

Copy files to DONE folder

A copy of all the files transmitted will be saved to the 'Done' folder. Using this option enables Zip Copied files and Build Archive. See Done folder.

Zip Copied files

If Copy files to DONE folder is selected, those files can be automatically zipped to reduce storage requirements. See Done folder.

Build Archive

If Copy files to DONE folder and Zip Copied files are selected, this option will automatically generate a unique zip file for each set of files saved. See Done folder.

Save copy of sent message

MAPI only: A copy of the transmitted e-mail can be saved in your mail client's Sent Items folder.

Read receipt requested

If this option is selected you will receive an e-mailed notification when the e-mail message has been read by the recipient. Of course, this message does not guarantee that any action has been taken - to guarantee action you should use Advanced Rules.

Note: you will only get a read receipt if the recipient mail client supports receipt requests.

Processed receipt requested

This option triggers a return confirmation message to you when the Advanced Rule has been processed by the recipient MailRules. This notification will be stored by MailRules for internal Rule Reporting during the next Inbound Check (Check Now).

Split message

All Advanced Outbound Rules are sent as zipped files. If you are aware of size restrictions between your mailbox and the recipient mailbox, you can specify here that the zip file be split into 'chunks' of 500KB or greater.

Encryption level

MailRules allows you to select two levels of encryption - Standard and Enhanced. Standard uses the industry-standard Zip encryption, which is suitable for most transmissions of data that is not deemed overly-sensitive. Enhanced encryption will encrypt your data using the TripleDES encryption algorithm.

Virtual Folder

Selecting this will ensure that the folder specified in WHAT will be delivered to the virtual folder on the recipient machine (specified on the WHERE tab). See Virtual Folders.

Surefire Delivery

Specify here if the message is to use Surefire Delivery (See Surefire Delivery) You can also specify the number of retries that are allowed before a Surefire Delivery abandons its attempts to deliver the message. You can also set the time out for each of the messages that Surefire Delivery dispatches.
