Send files zipped |
Allows you to compress ("zip") the files being sent, thereby reducing your transmission size & time. The files being sent are compressed into a single file called a "zip" file, for which you must supply a filename. This Zip file can only be opened by a user who has WinZip installed, or uses a MailRules Inbound Rule. This option is only available on Standard Rules as all Advanced Rules are automatically Zipped and Encrypted. |
Standard Rules only |
Encrypt |
You can encrypt files you are transmitting using the TripleDES encryption algorithm. Click the Encrypt button and you will be able to select a password - the password can either be the password belonging to one of your existing Profiles, or you can enter an alternative password. If you send the file zipped (using the Send File Zipped option) the recipient can use a MailRules Inbound Rule with the UnZip *.ZIP option to automatically unencrypt your message (they must have your e-mail address & advanced rule password stored in their address book). |
Standard Rules only - Advanced Rules are automatically encrypted |
Delete files once sent |
Permanently deletes all files that have been transmitted after the message has been successfully sent. Note that successful send does not mean successful delivery. See Done Folder. |
