No matter which part of an Outbound Rule you are maintaining (Who, What etc.) you can always access the general properties of the Rule:

Option |
Description |
This allows you to give your Rule a unique name. Why use a Rule Name? | |
Rule Type |
Standard or Advanced: Standard Outbound Rules send regular e-mail messages that can be read using any mail client. Advanced Rules can only be read using MailRules. |
Maintain Log |
A log of the Rule activity can be maintained in a file. This file is kept in the same folder as the file(s) you are transmitting and records the events such as when the Rule was dispatched and what files were transmitted. The Rule Name is used to create a filename for the log file. The log file is not transmitted with an Outbound Rule unless specifically selected (for example, selecting the folder will not automatically transmit the log file). |
